Excel Tutorial Series (Part 3): Filtering Unique Entries and Combining Reports

Feb 1 By Aziz Kamara

This is the 3rd and final part of this Excel tutorial series. If you haven’t watched the previous 2 parts, please go watch those first: Part 1 and Part 2. ┬áRemember to download the Follow Along Workbook to follow along with the tutorial. If you’ve already completed Part 1 and Part 2, use the same file that you worked on for this part. We will now take the work you’ve done and bring the two reports together.

Once you’ve completed the series, you should see how with just a few basic functions, you can do a lot in Excel. I hope you are able to takeaway the methodologies taught in this tutorial and apply it to whatever data analysis needs you may have. Please don’t hesitate to leave any questions you may have for Excel in the comments section.

  • I have a problem with the N column thats supposed to go 1,2,3,4,5 down to 12. I have the exact same formula but it shows up as blank. No error or number, just blank.

    please help.

  • Hi, what a great series! Quick question, on the completed final output workbook from your excel spreadsheet, why don’t you include the ad body copy?

    Thanks!

  • Thanks David.

Actually the reports don’t include ad headline and body copy. The only reason we could retrieve the so called headline is because when we created those ads, we used the headline as the creative name also. Hope that makes sense.
